After losing a dear loved one, I needed a way to keep them close. Photographs weren’t enough, and ashes in a box felt distant. I knew I would never feel whole again-but I hoped I could carry a piece of them with me, wherever I went.
I searched for something meaningful and found only things that felt cold and impersonal. So I turned to what I knew best. Drawing from over 30 years of artistic creation, I made something deeply personal-something born from love, memory, and loss.
When I shared it, others felt it too. What began as a private act of healing became a calling.
